This is awesome. I’ve seen similar Photoshop demos on the web, but this presentation of how totally screwed up our standards of beauty are really drives the point home.

I've decided to put this blog to rest. However, I keep a journal at my main site that might (but probably won't) interest you:

Last weekend, my family and I participated in the walk for a cure for MS. It was a pretty enjoyable morning, and the walk was relaxing. We unofficially settled on a “No-iPod” rule, so we all just talked and made fun of each other. Good time.

After writing yesterday’s article on nofollow, I got to thinking why blog owners aren’t more proactive about removing it from their links. Then a thought occurred to me: Maybe they don’t know about it.
Of course, many authors will know about nofollow, but I do think it’s possible some of them aren’t aware that removing it is so easy.
So now the question is, “How do I tell them?” Mass emailing dozens of blog owners is likely to result in nothing because they probably get so much email anyway that they’re wary of those with lots of recipients. Commenting on their site isn’t a great idea, because - despite my belief in the end of nofollow - I don’t want to litter people’s websites with personal comments. But there is one relatively easy way to alert them about the issue: link to them.
By linking to blogs with nofollow, I’m almost guaranteeing that they are made aware of the issue. Most authors watch their referrer logs with a keen eye and will wonder why their suddenly getting hits from my site’s visitors. They’ll inevitably check out what the buzz is all about, and maybe they’ll remove nofollow.
There’s certainly a possibility that the blog owner has already thought about and decided not to remove nofollow, but they won’t be troubled too much by a simple link.
If you are a blog owner visiting because you found this site in your referrer logs, it’s likely you have nofollow in your blog. Please take a moment to read this post on removing it, so the web can continue to be… well… a web.
And without further ado, here is the list - very much a living document. If you come across a site that deserves to be added, just stick it in the comments. It’ll work the same way.
